This notice describes how SlatePark handles information through this website. You can contact us at erik@erikbortz.com.

Information you choose to share

When you send a message, Formspree processes the information you enter and forwards it to our designated inbox. This includes your name, email address, optional organization, and message. Formspree also handles technical data used to operate and protect its service. Its free plan currently retains submissions in its dashboard for 30 days; messages in our inbox can remain longer.

We use inquiry information to understand your message, respond, and maintain the resulting correspondence. We do not add inquiries to a marketing list or sell inquiry information.

Hosting and technical information

Cloudflare processes connection and request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver and secure this website. Direct email is handled by the providers used by you and SlatePark.

Analytics and cookies

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate page use and performance. It does not use cookies or local storage to track visitors, or fingerprint individuals. It collects page and performance information through a browser beacon. Browser settings and blocking tools can affect these measurements.

If a contact submission is challenged by Formspree’s spam protection, that provider’s verification page and privacy practices apply. Fonts and website images are served with this site rather than loaded from a third-party font service.

How long information is kept

We keep correspondence while it is useful for responding to an inquiry, maintaining a business relationship, or meeting applicable recordkeeping needs. Provider retention can differ. You may ask us to delete correspondence; we will consider the request and explain any information we need to retain.

The contact form is optional. You can email us directly, ask what inquiry information we hold, or request a correction or deletion by contacting erik@erikbortz.com.
